Hi, I’m Sage and this page is just about me.

I grew up in Mendocino, California, after moving there at two years old. I have family who graduated Mendocino High School going back to 1906. I’ve lived in Fort Bragg since 2001.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. I have a brother and a sister, both of whom have their own families and careers.

I’m married to the love of my life, Nina, and together, we’ve built a wonderful family with four children and one grandchild. Our extended family is large and diverse, filled with many step-siblings, each adding a unique dimension to our lives.

I’ve always been passionate about technology. My journey with computers started early, and I’ve been a devoted Mac user since my family got our first computer when I was eight years old. Over the years, I’ve delved into web design, IT consulting, and even developed an e-commerce platform.

In addition to tech, I’ve always had a love for video editing, which began in middle school and continued through high school. Working on various projects with friends has been a creative outlet for me, and I’ve enjoyed seeing ideas come to life on screen.

My career has been a journey through various roles in technology, leadership, and community service. Currently, I serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Parents & Friends, Inc., where I’ve been since 2022. Prior to this, I managed the Mendocino Community Network for nearly a decade, overseeing operations from 2013 to 2022.

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, which led me to establish Sage’s Computer, a web design and IT consulting business, which I ran from 2004 to 2014. Earlier in my career, I founded Paper Street Software, an eCommerce software company, and operated it from 1999 to 2008.

My leadership experience extends beyond my career and includes volunteer work when I served on the Board of Directors of American Youth Service, Gloriana Opera Company, and Parents & Friends, Inc. for over a decade. Additionally, I was a Planning Commissioner for the City of Fort Bragg from 2012 to 2015.

Throughout my career, I’ve balanced my technical expertise with a strong commitment to community service, always aiming to make a positive impact wherever I can.
